Head Coach
Terry Dokken

The lacrosse community in St. Albert is very excited about the 2004 RMLL season. For the first time in the city’s history a St. Albert lacrosse team will compete at the Jr. "B" level.

The 2004 St. Albert Jr. "B" Rams will be coached by Terry Dokken and Steve Klein. The teams General Manager will be Keith Wilkes. The Trainer will be Andy Morris. This is the same group that was very successful the past twp years at the Tier II level. Coach Dokken is looking to add a couple of coaches to his team.

Steve Klein

In its inaugural season the Jr. "B" Rams will be a very young team but they will be big and fast. As the team shapes up it is looking like 21 -23 players will be under the age of 20. This will make competing at the Jr. "B" level a little tougher this year but the future looks very bright. If Dokken can keep this team together for the next 2 years it will be a very strong Jr. "B" team and will contend for the Founder’s Cup. There are 40 graduating midgets coming into the junior ranks this year in St. Albert. This crop of midgets is a highly skilled group. Don’t be surprised if 5 or 6 of them break the Jr. "B" line-up this year.

Keith Wilkes

The St. Albert Jr. "B" Rams held a Conditioning Camp from January 31st, to March 27th at the Tri Leisure Centre in Spruce Grove. A number of players took advantage of this camp to get in game shape for the upcoming season. The camp become more successful as players finished their hockey seasons and the numbers increased.

Forty of the best lacrosse players in St. Albert will be invited to the inaugural St. Albert Jr. "B" Rams Training Camp. The camp will run for 2 weeks at which time 23 – 25 players will be invited to be a member of St. Albert’s first Jr. "B" lacrosse team.

The Jr. "B" Rams have a very strong executive that supports and works very hard for them. The bulk of this executive has been the driving force behind getting a Jr. "B" team in St. Albert. The Past President of the St. Albert Major Rams, Dennis Malayko lobbied for an entire year to convince the Alberta lacrosse community that St. Albert is a Jr. "B" lacrosse city and the Alberta lacrosse community listened.
