St Albert Jr. B Tier I Rams Announce Captain and Alternates

The St. Albert Jr. B Rams announced their Captain and Alternates for the 2004 season. The Captain of the 2004 St. Albert Jr. "B" Rams will be Ryan Polny. Ryan will be joined by Alternates Tyler Anderson and Jared Domino. These 3 players have led their team for the past two years both on and of the floor and are much deserved recipients of this honour.

Ryan Polny is entering his third year of junior lacrosse. He replaces last years Captain Craig Roberts. Craig has moved on to senior lacrosse and now is a member of the St. Albert Sr. B Rams. Ryan was an Alternate Captain on the 2003 Tier II Junior Rams. He is an excellent two way lacrosse player. He is very strong in the defensive zone and has very good offensive skills. Ryan’s real strength is his ability to pick up loose balls. He is the Jim Veltman of the Jr. B Rams.

Ryan plays both on the Short Man Team and the Loose Ball Team for the Jr. "B" Rams. Ryan is well liked by his team mates and respected around the league for his hard work and physical play.

Tyler Anderson is in his third year of junior lacrosse. This will be his third year as an Alternate Captain. Tyler’s strengths are in the defensive zone where he takes great pride in stopping the opponents with solid checking. Tyler is a very physical player and acts as the policeman when he is on the floor.

Tyler plays on the Short Man Team, the Loose Ball Team and spends some time on the Powerplay for the Jr. "B" Rams. Tyler is well liked by his team mates and respected around the league for his toughness and physical play.

Jared Domino is in his third year of junior lacrosse. This is Jared’s first year as an Alternate Captain. Jared is an all around lacrosse player. He possesses great offensive skills; he is strong in the defensive zone and has an excellent transition game. Jared enjoys it when the game gets physical and he is right at home cutting through the middle for a shot or receiving a pass.

Jared plays on the Powerplay and Loose Ball Team for the Jr. Rams. He is well liked by his team mates and well respected around the league for his hard work and physical style of play.
